A few days of special events to show our love for the natural world. Poetry, sewing, relaxing and meditating, looking, tasting, talking and listening…
Thursday 11 at 7.30
Haiku Fun with Gail Cotton, Mick Delap, Graham High, Rosie Johnston, Fiona Moore, Bernadette Reed and others. Come and listen and/or participate! A free event open to all. Donations for refreshments.
Friday 12 at 7-8pm
“Heartfulness” relaxation and meditation taster, led by Kathleen Gillespie and Miriam Hanid. A free event open to all. “Feel the lightness and joy of your true nature. Heartfulness meditation is simply taking the time every day to tune into that internal presence.”
Saturday 13 11.30-5pm
Children’s day with green hearts craft activities for children and children’s books on nature/environment themes for sale. (details to follow).
Sunday 14 11-5.30pm
A free drop-in sewing bee for Valentine’s and a chance to find out more about the ‘for the love of…’ campaign.
