Following a phenomenal run to sold-out audiences Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017, award-winning company Protein presents a thought-provoking yet poignant commentary on multicultural Britain through dance, live music and dialogue compiled from the performers’ personal experiences.

Border Tales looks at post-Brexit Britain seen through the eyes of an international cast and gazes satirically on stereotypical thinking about ‘migrant outsiders’ and ‘bigoted homelanders’.

Stay in your seats after the show and take part in this lively discussion.

Our guests Tolu Agbelusi (poet and playwright), Arti Prashar (Spare Tyre) and Yomi Sode (writer and performer) alongside Protein’s artistic director, Luca Silvestrini will be discussing the tensions at play as they live, work and make art in a multicultural Britain.

Our guest Chair is Simon Pitts from BBC World Service.

Price: £14 / £10 concs.
