About this event:
On Saturday 27th August Bostall Heath will be transformed into a one big Teddy Bears’ Picnic with special guests Peppa Pig and Owly (the Hospice mascot) making appearances throughout the afternoon.
Also on offer will be a variety of traditional games such as Spin the Wheel, Coconut Shy, Knock Down Cans, Test Your Strength, Name That Bear and tombola stalls plus Hospice stalls selling sweets, books, toys and jewellery.
Throughout the afternoon entertainment will be provided and this year will feature martial arts performances from Pyramid Martial Arts and enchanting stories and games from the Bexley Bards.
Look out for the fun inflatables which will include a Camelot Castle and a new Fun-Run. Charlton Athletic Football Club will be challenging kids to beat their football doughnut whilst the folks from Thamesmere Leisure Centre will be doing fitness testing on bikes and rowers!
Hot dogs and burgers will be served on our BBQ, and also on offer will be hot drinks, ice cream, candy floss, and lots of tasty homemade cakes! New for this year will be a Hospice beer and Pimms tent.
Tickets are £3 per child and include a picnic lunch box and entertainment; accompanying adult tickets are 50p each.
