The West End in Greenwich!

west end, greenwichThe West End in is coming to Greenwich!

‘West End in?’ is very excited to announce their upcoming February half-term course in Greenwich. Taking place from the 18th-20th February for ages 6+.

This is the first series of West End musical theatre workshops that ‘West End in?’ will be running in Greenwich this year. During the three-day workshops, kids will learn songs, dance routines and scenes from top West End shows.

The interactive theatre workshops are taught by the top West End performers from these actual shows and at the end of the three days, students will put on a small performance for family and friends to show what they have learnt.

“We don’t just bring in any teachers – we bring in the actual performers who have starred in these shows,” Park explains. “These are top West End actors who know the shows inside out and who will not only teach the shows, but share insights and stories about performing in the West End.”

‘West End in’ was launched two years ago by professional performer, producer and arts educator, Michael Park. His passion for performing arts education inspired him to start his own teaching management company, which specialises in providing the education sector with highly qualified teachers from the performing arts industry. ‘West End in’ now works with over 100 schools and theatres up and down the country.”

“I’m really excited to be working alongside GreenwichMums to bring this opportunity to the fantastic mums of Greenwich and their kids. This really is an invaluable experience for any young person interested in singing, dancing and acting. It’s hard enough to get tickets for the most popular West End performances, but these kids will have the opportunity to actually learn from the stars themselves and get a feel for the excitement of a career on stage. This opportunity is not just for those interested in drama but for those who just want to have a fun half-term activity and make new friends.”

West End in Greenwich will be running from the 18th – 20th February, 9am-3pm at Mycenae House, SE3 7SE.

Workshop places are strictly limited and early booking is advised. To book a space now or for more information, visit the ‘West End in?’ website or contact Michael Park directly at michael@westendin.com if you have any questions.
