If you’ve been on the fence about taking your child to the theatre or a live performance because you think it’s just not for them, what better way to dip your toe and find out? As a parent of three children, this is on our list for our Greenwich Christmas.

‘A very funny, entertaining interactive musical adventure.’ ***** Made Magazine

Shaun the Sheep meets Dora at the North Pole. Done! PAW Patrol help Father Christmas deliver presents. No problem! Peppa Pig and Spiderman build a snowman? Of course!

Children (and only children!) are in charge there. Kids decide who the heroes are and what happens next in every story. All they need to do is shout out their ideas, and The Showstoppers will bring them to life – with music and comedy – right there on the spot. They can even join in!

Completely different every single time, The Showstoppers’ Christmas Kids Show is the only family show you’ll need this Christmas.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR GROWN-UPS:

Children (and ONLY children!) are in charge here – no cheating, please! Kids decide who our heroes are and what happens next in every story.

All they need to do is shout out their ideas, and The Showstoppers will bring them to life – with music and comedy – right there on the spot. They can even join in!

The group are well known and renowned for its improvisation work. Most cast members have also received acclaim in their own right.

The Showstoppers have been working on ’Showstopper! The Improvised Musical’ since 2008, figuring out how to improvise in increasingly esoteric styles, musical, dance, straight theatre, and film genres, to name a few.

The show had an 8-week run at London’s Other Palace in early 2019 and continues to play monthly at the Lyric Theatre in London’s West End.

In the Autumn of 2015, it became the first long-form improv show to have a full run in the West End at the Apollo Theatre.
