Greenwich Market Christmas

GM_black_logoThis year Greenwich Markets Christmas begins with the local school children’s hand made lantern procession.

Followed by the switching on of the Christmas lights in the Market.

The procession will start at 4pm on 26th Nov 2014 in front of the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre at the ORNC and will wind its way to the Market.

The big countdown at 4.45pm will be with Sarah-Jane Honeywell from CBeebies and characters from this year’s Greenwich Theatre panto.

Come and can join in the singing of Christmas Carols, meet Father Christmas in his Greenwich Grotto and shop till late through to 7pm.

Greenwich Market is London’s only historic market set within a World Heritage site. Surrounded by independent and boutique shops and a well established designer-maker trend means you are sure to find something different. Enjoy a relaxing day out with a great choice of take away food from the market and a range of gastro pubs, restaurants, cafes and wine bars within an easy stroll.

Market is open Tuesday to Sunday: 10am – 5.30pm
