Family Friendly Week 2014

Its very easy after work, to pop the children in front of the TV, feed them and get on with jobs before bedtime. Family Friendly Week 2014 recognises the importance of spending quality time together, which is why cooking is the theme this year.

Family Friendly Week (formerly Parents’ Week) is a national awareness week run by the Family and Childcare Trust. The aim of the week is to increase recognition of the issues faced by families up and down the country, but also to celebrate the vital contribution families make to society.

This years theme ‘Cook Together, Share Together, Laugh Together’. they want to have fun with food as a way to celebrate UK families!

How to get involved with Family Friendly Week 2014

For Families:

1: Download the family pack full of mealtime tips and great family recipes, and enjoy their fun foody activity pack for kids!

2. Send them the family recipe you love most and tell the Family & Childcare Trust – why it’s your favourite. They would also love a photo of the meal and/or your family if you would like to send one. Send to info@familyandchildcaretrust.org

3. By sending them your recipe you will be entered for a competition to win one of these great prizes:
