About this event:
Take a peek into the world of bees on the Pollen Foraging Walk at Shrewsbury Park with master apiarist, John Large.
This event is suitable for: All ages
This event costs: Free to members (you can sign up on the day)
A walk identifying which plants are in bloom and take samples of pollen – any honey bees foraging on the plants can be dabbed and marked. You’ll then head to the apiary on Shooters Hill Road.
Please note: We can accommodate many more than 10 on the walk but only 10 at the apiary session. Children and dogs can attend the walk, but unfortunately not the apiary.
