Art Portfolio Builder is a weeklong course for 15-18-year-olds, giving you an opportunity to develop your existing skills, prepare your portfolio or simply allow you to take time to explore a new interest.
This program is great for those wishing to broaden and strengthen their portfolios, making work that is different in character to, and complements, GCSE and A-level work. All the materials you need are provided for you. You can learn to paint with oil paints and acrylics, experiment with clay sculpture, try your hand at life drawing or simply learn to draw with medias such as charcoal, soft pencil, pastel and Indian ink. During our weeklong program we will throw light on the technical aspects of each chosen art form. You will be guided in how to start, develop and resolve your art pieces, allowing for plenty of experimenting along the way. You will create your own personal artworks, but more importantly will develop your individual creative potential in a fun and comfortable atmosphere.
