The Mini Marathon is back!

On Sunday 19th April hundreds of local children will complete their own mini ‘marathon’ to raise funds for Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice. Starting from the iconic Bandstand at the top of Royal Greenwich Park *5 to 16 year olds will take part in a fun and energetic warm up, conducted by the guys and gals from Greenwich Get Active, before running, walking or jogging their way around a 2.62 mile course.

Like the Virgin London Marathon, which takes place one week after our Mini Marathon, runners will be able to stand out from the crowd by running in fancy dress if they want. We can’t wait to see what colorful costumes and characters will be joining us!

Registration is £7.50 per child and every child receives a well deserved medal and goody bag at the finish line.
